Donate Your Bra For A Cause fundraises to ship bras to breast cancer survivors and women in shelters because:

An estimated 4 MILLION women are abused by their partners in the USA. Nearly 3000 women are killed by their husbands or partners every year. Most leave with only the clothes on their backs. Bras are the most requested clothing and each shelter needs over 250 bras EVERY MONTH from Donate Your Bra For A Cause.

Breast cancer leaves not only physical but emotional scars. Depression, stress and anxiety can all negatively affect a survivor’s outcome. Bras not only help with the healing process but can empower a survivor to return to a normal lifestyle. Help us put beautiful bras on beautiful breast cancer survivors.

We believe a bra can reshape a woman’s life. With the right support, a woman can regain her confidence and power after suffering a devastating change in her life. We provide sports bras, mastectomy bras, prosthesis, wigs and lingerie to breast cancer survivors. We also specialize in hard to find large size bras for those in need and nursing bras.

We currently process over 1000 bras a month and many need sanitizing before we can send them out. We are in specific need of a new washing machine with steam cleaning capabilities. Our goal is to raise $2500 to cover the cost of a new washer/dryer combo. Please help us reshape women’s lives one clean bra at a time.

Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Donate Your Bras For A Cause. The Donate Your Bras For A Cause will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Donate Your Bras For A Cause.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

The Donate Your Bras For A Cause will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.

The Donate Your Bras For A Cause will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Donate Your Bras For A Cause.

Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Donate Your Bras For A Cause.
